So this posting more than once month thing is happening.. not! but no fear, it is now my Easter break which equates to three whole weeks of usable blog time ;) (in between getting my essay done but quarter of the way there!) On a less positive note I haven't been feeling the greatest lately, and with sleep being the main driver of creativity, I have had a very poor amount.. But with some stress reduction, time management, meditation and plan making I hope to conquer this negativity! I am trying to push through this and with the weather getting warmer and the days getting longer, the sky is the limit!

Right, whew, now for the positive and the future:

• Social Media-  I've decided I want to reach out to more of you and the best way I can currently come up with is through my social media for The Artsy One. most accounts have been pretty stable but I am definitely seeing growth in my Instagram following and it is so exciting! I hope to connect more with you guys and answer any questions you may have, and you know, even just have a chat!

• Camera- With my student loan on the horizon it has spurred me to have a little look online (shopping.. lets say it is long awaited ;) ) and I have decided this time I need and shall finally invest in a decent camera. This not only will be useful for Uni work and Course based photography, but it will also be helpful for personal use ie this blog and my next potential project..

• YouTube- Now I'm going to need some feedback for this one (like really really), but I was wondering whether to start up a Youtube channel containing videos of both my work as well as lifestyle bites like vlogs or lookbooks. With the addition of a new camera this would be 1000 times easier so if its what you want to see then it'd be I testing to find out!
• Sunshine, floral fashion, outside adventures!- Obviously summer is on it's way and its been more than visible in the gorgeous spring weather we've been having here in England. Me and a friend have been scouring the internet for pretty, flowy, floral dresses because the sunshine is  bringing out our inner girliness. I hope to share both  my purchases as well as my sunshine adventures!

So since the new year began, I told myself I would eat healthier and less, like many of us do. But like the many who have fallen before me that obviously hasn't happened. Like seriously hasn't happened. Like it's worse than before Christmas. Yeah, that bad.

But alas in the wake of this extreme over-eating I have discovered some new flavours I hadn't yet come across in my journey across the taste buds. (Am I a food blogger yet? ;) ) as my student loan came in, me and my friends thought we would treat ourselves (repeatedly) to some food other than bacon and noodles.

When we first came back we decided on a good ol' fashioned Pizza Hut. Basic but beautiful. The name of the pizza escapes me but we had the evening menu, mine loaded with chicken, BBQ, mushrooms, cheese and all the good stuff. And we can't say no to some sides either can we?


I believe we then were adventurous and ordered The Beefy Boys Takeaway (which I didn't even know existed!) . The Beefy Boys is an awesome burger place here in Hereford and if you are ever around I would totally recommend trying it because I swear to god it is crafted by angels. I ordered The Blue Boy which consisted of a beef patty, American & Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion, gherkin, pickled jalapeños (I didn't have these though) and blue cheese sauce. Literally the juiciest, meatiest, most flavoursome burger I have ever consumed! (the photo doesn't do it justice trust me!!)

Lots of unwashed dishes, strange breakfast combinations, confusion when attempting to wash clothes, lost keys, excessive amounts of stationary, awkward meal times, disagreeing about the tv channels, sleepy starts, evenings out.. Yes I am now officially a STUDENT!!

Here we go! Welcome to my very first blog post here on The Artsy One. Don't worry it wont be too formal or cliché, I just want to introduce myself and explain how, when and why I started this blog.

I've created a few failed blogs in my time. Poor layouts, packed sidebars, bugs and more, you name it. But I do know one thing, I have learnt from my many failed attempts and am ready to present myself in this new, clean and responsive layout.

In the transition from high school to future plan I have been a little indecisive, but have settled on following my education in art and design and hopefully build career out of my passion when I can finally call myself a responsible, experienced artist!

I hope to share my own artwork, designs and ideas as well as feature beautiful work I come across on my travels through education as well as life in general. This is a place to find and discover as well as recommend and feature so by all means get in touch!

But this isn't just going to be academic and artsy, I hope to pack in a little fashion, life, studential themed content and maybe even a little food too! (Lets not put up walls on what I will and wont talk about eh?!)

So, there we are! I cant wait to start building, sharing and discovering with you, my readers, and speak to you soon!
